Technology

AppNeta’s PathView Cloud is designed for monitoring and troubleshooting performance sensitive applications including VoIP, Video conferencing, Virtualization, EHR, IP Storage and Disaster Recovery, and other cloud-based services. The zero-administration network management service immediately enables visibility into how an application will perform on any network, including all security and traffic shaping technologies. The PathView Cloud network performance management technology and cloud-based service includes:

PathView Cloud: Cloud-based network performance service for assessing, monitoring and troubleshooting network problems; enables Active bandwidth monitoring and end-to-end Qos verification.

AppView Voice: An add-on module that enables network engineers to test a network's capacity to handle VoIP traffic by simulating a specified amount of synthetic voice traffic over the network in question.[1]

AppView Web: An add-on module that monitors key performance metrics of any website. Used by end users to monitor company websites as well as managed service providers to monitor customer websites.[2]

FlowView: An add-on for PathView Cloud that provides traffic and flow analysis of network user activities. It allows network engineers insight into network bottlenecks, usage patterns and user activities.[3] FlowView Plus offers the capability to remotely capture network traffic at the exact location and time that performance fluctuations occur. PathView Cloud and FlowView enable network engineers to have greater visibility into identifying and troubleshooting network performance issues.

The company’s solutions use patented dispersion analysis to measure the total capacity, utilization, and ability of any network to deliver performance critical applications such as voice, video, virtualization, IP storage, and cloud based services. The products provide highly accurate performance visibility across any Local Area Network, private Wide Area Network, or the public Internet, without capturing or impacting existing traffic.
